Endorsement from Angela Taylor

Dignifying Dementia is a remarkable chronicle of the unavoidable loss of love and life, stolen by a cruel disease called Lewy body dementia. The author brings her husband, Jim, to life in Technicolor, both the before and after version of Jim, and I was struck by how much of my own father’s experience with LBD was written in Elizabeth Tierney’s book. I know that Dignifying Dementia will resonate deeply with others who walked down this road and hopefully, will also raise visibility of the disease and the significant needs of LBD families to all who read it.

Elizabeth recently spoke at Noble Horizons

“Elizabeth Tierney spoke and the audience was spell bound. I cannot recall a more powerful, compassionate, articulate speaker especially on such a very difficult topic.  She was simply extraordinary, and every single member of the audience commented on the impact of her program.  One resident pulled me aside and said that we should host her again; that so many in our community especially couples-would benefit.  She then emphatically promised that she would do anything and everything she could to encourage people to come.
This is NOT your run of the mill (if there is such a thing!) dementia/Alzheimer’s talk.
Elizabeth speaks with such compelling honesty, wisdom, and hope that the audience is simply riveted.  I cannot imagine more earnestly recommending any speaker.”
Caroline Burchfield, Director of Public Relations, Noble Horizons, Salisbury CT
